Collection: What Awaits Within

Sherry Davis’ What Awaits Within, is an installation of anthropocenic hybrids made entirely of waste arranged so that they appear unexpectedly in nature. The entangled and condensed upcycled upholstery selvage along with invasive plant roots and vines (all inert) merge into transmogrified forms whose complexity evokes curiosity. The haunting assemblages serve as powerful symbols, representing the potential for personal metamorphosis and societal transformation.
